"Emmitt" will delight you with his temperment and movement. He is friendly, easy to handle  and always willing to do whatever you ask of him.  He has always been a model student under saddle and very easy to train.  He has a great walk and tracks up well, a beautiful sweeping daisy cutter trot with a gorgeous long strided canter to match.  He is a perfect gentleman at home, at shows and in the breeding shed.  He is always a favorite of the little girls with his sweet demeanor, his long pony forelock and voluminous tail.

 

He has proven his excellent talent in the hunter ring at Breed, Local and "AA" rated shows.  He has 'textbook' knees to his chin form and has an excellent bascule over the jumps.  His long stride and scopey jumping style always put him at the top of the ribbons. 

 

He is a proven sire of both purebred and partbred foals. He has passed on his superb temperament, correct conformation and beautiful movement to all his offspring. They are all very similar to their sire as they are friendly, known for their sweet personalities and extremely easy to train - some of them have been called "born broke".  His offspring are excelling in the show ring and have proven their talent in the hunter and dressage arenas as well as their athletic-ness out on the cross country field. 

 

Emmitt has sired about 50% dilute colored foals (buckskin and perlino) and 50% hard colored foals (bay and black).  He is a sire that adds an elegance and wonderful kindness to his foals.
